I love working in ink, it gives such a sophisticated and elegant look.  I use fineliners, which are perfect for creating lots of detail in my illustrations.  Many of my surface patterns start out drawn in ink which I paint with watercolour or, sometimes, colour in digitally.  You'll find a selection of some of my hand drawn inky florals on this page.
